19. 5 things to do in July for a smooth start to the new school year

Summer is almost over and the back to school dreams (or nightmares) have begun.  The excitement, fear, and nervousness are replacing your laid back-carefree July vacation.  Not to worry!  This is natural and all teachers have been there.

There is so much to do to get ready for the new school year, and much of it requires the collaboration of your new grade level team or department. But there are a few things you can do before August comes around to give you a jump start to the first day of school.
